STAHL Companies provides the Program Management for its Channel of Commercial Technology companies in Government that consist of Small Businesses and New Technology start-ups.
STAHL advocates for policies that can improve government services and maintain our government's competitive advantage, by bringing more technology into government programs.

STAHL Companies advocates on behalf of our nation's innovative, new technology and small businesses looking to work with the U.S. government. We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem.

The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Secretary I to join our team!

The Secretary I provides entry-level administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of an office or department. This role performs routine administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing files, and responding to inquiries. The Secretary I supports staff and management by maintaining organized records, coordinating schedules, and assisting with general office activities.
Key Responsibilities:
·         Perform routine clerical and administrative duties to support daily office operations.
·         Draft, format, and distribute basic correspondence, memos, and other documents.
·         Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars for staff or management.
·         Organize and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems to ensure records are accurate and easily accessible.
·         Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide general information to callers and visitors.
·         Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and other office communications.
·         Assist with preparing reports, documents, and meeting materials as needed.
·         Maintain office supplies and assist with basic administrative logistics.
·         Support staff with routine administrative tasks and data entry as required.
Qualifications:
·         High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training or coursework is a plus.
·         1–2 years of clerical or administrative support experience preferred.
·         Basic knowledge of office procedures and administrative practices.
·         Strong organizational and time management skills.
·         Good written and verbal communication skills.
·         Proficiency in common office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems.
