ENTRY-LEVEL ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE – BUILD YOUR ACCOUNTING CAREER IN FINANCIAL SERVICES

LOCATION

Dallas, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $25+/hour (Based on experience)

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

ROLE IMPACT

Launch your accounting career with hands-on exposure to the financial services industry. In this entry-level role, you’ll support the Accounting & Finance team with daily accounting operations, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial close activities while building valuable experience in financial and regulatory reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and post daily journal entries to the general ledger with appropriate supporting documentation.

• Perform monthly general ledger and bank account reconciliations; research and resolve discrepancies.

• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including accruals, prepaid amortization, and fixed asset entries.

• Assist with internal financial reports, regulatory reporting schedules, accounts payable, vendor setup, and expense report review.

• Support internal and external audits and assist with process improvements, automation, and other accounting projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and fundamental accounting practices.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and lookup functions, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
