Preventative Maintenance Diesel Technician
Idealease with Southwest International Trucks is hiring a highly skilled Preventative Maintenance Diesel Technician in Dallas, Texas. The Preventative Maintenance Diesel Technician will have a full-time schedule, with access to full benefits and company incentives.
Preventative Maintenance Diesel Technician Responsibilities:

  • Routine and preventative maintenance repairs and minor repairs.
  • Use location tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
  • Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
  • Doing preventative maintenance repairs - like replacing or rotating tires - and complete vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on diesel engines vehicles, refrigeration equipment, lift gates and trailers.
  • Partnering with your manages to learn new skills using technician training and hands-on coaching.
  • Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Preventative Maintenance Diesel Technician Skills:

  • Individuals will be expected to independently diagnosis, repair and/or replace major components. 
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • 1 years hands- on diesel mechanic experience
  • Must be able to read and comprehend instruction manuals and diagnostic charts
  • Computer Skills & Data Entry (Diagnostics Experience Preferred) 
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, CDL a plus
  • Possess own tools and tool box
