Entry Level HVAC Installer (Residential & Light Commercial) - Start Your Career Here!

Join a Trusted Name in HVAC Since 1921 Jacob Heating & Air Conditioning has proudly served the West Volusia community for over 100 years as a family-owned company. We're known for quality workmanship, honest service, and treating both our customers and team members with respect and integrity.

We are currently looking for a motivated Entry Level HVAC Installer to join our growing installation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the trade and build a stable, long-term career with a respected local company.

Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday (occasional overtime, evenings, and weekends may be required)

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience

Primary Responsibilities: Install residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems while maintaining high safety standards and delivering excellent customer service.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work at heights and use scissor/genie lifts safely
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic hand tool knowledge
  • Willingness to learn and follow installation best practices
  • Commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trade school training or at least 6 months experience as an HVAC Install Helper
  • Mechanical and tool knowledge highly preferred
  • EPA 608 Certification (preferred)
  • Previous construction or mechanical experience
  • Ability to read basic blueprints and diagrams
