Location: Geneva Lake Manor
Schedule: Monday - Friday - Full-time onsite position

Job Summary
The Human Resource Manager - HR at Geneva Lake Manor oversees all HR functions, including payroll, recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and policy development. This role partners with leadership to support organizational goals by fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring legal compliance, and implementing effective people strategies. The HR Manager serves as a trusted resource for employees and management while promoting engagement, accountability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, background, reference checks and extending offer letters.
  • Payroll and compensation reporting
  • Coordinate and perform the new hire onboarding process
  • Schedule, manage and oversee new hire orientation
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
  • Training and development including, but not limited to, tracking and monitoring the electronic learning management system to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Manage employee benefits administration such as enrollment processing and resolving benefits-related inquires.
  • Manage the HRIS system and ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, and external partners

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in human resource management or related field, preferably in long-term care
  • Experience in processing payroll and payroll reporting
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professional with employees at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS system
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable and dependable
