Job description

We're looking for a hands-on HR Coordinator who enjoys balancing administrative work with meaningful employee interaction-from recruiting and onboarding to supporting employees throughout their journey. This is a non-exempt, hourly position that reports directly to the HR Manager. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday 7:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the facility by regularly walking the production floor and interacting with employees.
  • Assist employees with routine HR questions and direct them to appropriate resources.
  • Some administrative duties include data entry into the HRIS, running basic reports, utilizing Excel to manipulate reports, etc.
  • Conduct routine audits of employee files to ensure compliance and completeness.
  • Manage the hourly recruiting process from application through hire. This includes posting jobs, phone screens, onsite interviews, extending offers, conducting background checks, etc.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure all required employment documents are completed accurately.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating employee appreciation activities, including plant wide lunches, annual company picnics, wellness events, holiday celebrations, and much more!
  • Other responsibilities as needed.

What we are looking for...
  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledgeable in basic HR practices. At least one year of Human Resources or related experience. Education in Human Resources may be considered in lieu of experiences.
  • Professional experience in administrative functions is required.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution or similar industries is highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and ability to multi task successfully.
  • Confidentiality is required and non-negotiable.
  • Requires high level of organizational and time management skill sets.
  • Must be able to sit, walk and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to engage in two-way communication and maintain positive relationships with all members of company.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
