Job description

Position Summary:
Seeking a motivated and patient-focused Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care services. The ideal candidate should value preventive medicine, patient education, and holistic approaches to disease management. Spanish & English speaking is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical exams, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Emphasize nutrition and lifestyle interventions in care plans
  • Order and interpret labs and diagnostic studies
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention and management
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active California Nurse Practitioner license, New Graduates are welcome
  • Board Certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) (preferred)
  • DEA license/Furnishing License (or eligibility)
  • Strong interest in preventive care and nutrition
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in pediatric primary care or family medicine
