Job Title Receptionist High School Education High School diploma or equivalent Location North Central High School  Work Schedule 7:00am 3:30pm Calendar Length Year-round FLSA Classification Hourly, Non-exempt Salary/Hourly Rate

$19.50/hr ($40,560 annually)

Additional compensation given for post-secondary education, approved industry certifications and bilingual proficiency.

JOB EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Position Purpose / Description

Under the supervision of the Assistant Principal in charge of office personnel, the High School

Receptionist is responsible for performing the following duties:

  • Answering all telephone calls to the main console.
  • Greeting and assisting visitors.
  • Using Raptor to run background checks on all visitors.
  • Check student IDs as students return from appointments.
  • Maintaining reservation log for building tours by PTO.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must have excellent communication and public relations skills in dealing with various publics
  • including parents, students, teachers, administrators, and various agencies.
  • Accurate and neat typing/keyboarding is required.
  • Applicant should possess above average computer knowledge and a willingness to learn additional computer software applications.
  • Attention to detail is necessary.
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience
  • Experience in a school environment is preferred.
