Press Helper โ€“ Entry Level
As a Press Helper you will assist the Press Operator in setting up and maintaining the printing press, ensuring each job is completed efficiently and accurately. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills and build a long-term career in printing and packaging.
Responsibilities
Ensure sufficient raw materials are available before starting a job Inspect master rolls for damage or crushed cores Verify proper material orientation for printing Load raw material rolls onto the press Set up and monitor ink pans, pumps, and viscosity Monitor ink quality and address any issues during production Clean and maintain plates, rollers, and ink pans Return unused material to inventory and prepare for the next job Attend to special projects or other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic math and measuring skills
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and navigate stairs
  • Strong communication skills โ€“ verbal and written in English
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
