Position Summary
The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and disinfected facility. The Facilities Technician will maintain a general upkeep of the facility and create an aesthetically pleasing appearance to the building.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Cleans and maintains the restrooms.
  • Cleans the carpet, mats, windows, and walls.
  • Vacuums, sweeps, and mops all floors.
  • Use company provided cleaning solutions to remove stains, clean and sanitize surfaces.
  • Sprays insecticides to prevent insect infestations.
  • Cleans and disinfects cubicles.
  • Disinfects handrails, door handles, and common touchpoints.
  • Stocks/ maintains coffee supply rooms and replenishes the coffee stations.
  • Empties all trash and recycling bins.
  • Steam-cleans and shampoos carpets.
  • Operates floor scrubbers and other equipment.
  • Dusts furniture and fixtures.
  • Reports malfunctions, deficiencies, and repair needs.
  • Notifies supervisors of unsafe conditions.
  • Follows all health and safety regulations.
  • Prioritize and manage multi-functional tasks.
  • Performs other duties assigned by the Facilitates Manager.

Position Requirements
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Must be a US Citizen due to this position requires visibility to NO FORN projects
