Account Development Sales Representative - Heat Exchanger Markets.

Join our team at Alleima Tube Americas and help shape the future of materials technology!

At Alleima, we develop advanced materials and solutions that enable our customers to be more efficient, profitable, and sustainable. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Business Development & Inside Sales Representative to drive profitable growth within the Heat Exchanger market across North America.

This role combines strategic business development with hands-on sales execution. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with key customers, and managing the complete sales process from opportunity identification through quotation, order entry, and post-sales support.

Working closely with Account Managers, Technical Marketing, Product Management, Production Units, and Quality teams, you will play a critical role in establishing Alleima as the preferred tubing supplier for heat exchanger fabricators, OEMs, EPC contractors, and end users.

Your Role

As an Account Development Sales Representative, you will be at the center of both market development and daily commercial operations. You will engage directly with customers to understand their business drivers, identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience throughout the sales cycle.

You will combine commercial acumen, technical understanding, and relationship-building skills to drive profitable growth while supporting customers throughout project development, quotation, order fulfillment, and aftermarket activities.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Growth

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow Alleima's presence within the heat exchanger industry.

  • Establish Alleima as the preferred tubing supplier with heat exchanger fabricators, OEMs, EPC contractors, and end users.

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities and strategic accounts.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • Develop customer account plans that identify business drivers, growth opportunities, and action plans.

  • Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and business reviews to strengthen partnerships and uncover new opportunities.

  • Gather and communicate market intelligence, competitive information, industry trends, and customer feedback.

  • Collaborate with Technical Marketing and Product Management to develop value propositions and market strategies.

Sales & Commercial Execution

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from RFQ receipt through order fulfillment.

  • Analyze customer inquiries and specifications to prepare competitive commercial and technical proposals.

  • Negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.

  • Process and maintain quotations, opportunities, projects, and orders within CRM and ERP systems.

  • Monitor order progress, delivery schedules, and project milestones to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Coordinate closely with production units, planning, logistics, and quality teams to align customer requirements with manufacturing capabilities.

  • Handle post-sales activities including documentation requests, order status updates, complaint resolution, and commercial follow-up.

  • Participate actively in daily sales team discussions regarding quotations, projects, priorities, and business decisions.

Customer Experience & Relationship Management

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and responsiveness throughout the customer journey.

  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer challenges and providing value-added solutions.

  • Build long-term customer loyalty through proactive communication and reliable execution.

  • Support customer visits, audits, trade shows, and industry events to strengthen Alleima's market presence.

Your Profile

You are a driven commercial professional who enjoys balancing strategic business development with day-to-day customer engagement. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and are passionate about creating value for customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Industrial, Petroleum) or Business Administration.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, account management, technical sales, or customer service within industrial markets.

  • Experience in heat exchangers, process equipment, refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, power generation, energy, or related industries is highly preferred.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into profitable business.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, and Microsoft Office 365 applications.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Fluency in English is required.

Travel

Travel is expected to be approximately 20-30%, including customer visits, industry events, trade shows, and internal meetings.
