If so, we'd love to hear from you!Position SummaryThe IT Manager runs day-to-day IT for JARS across the corporate office and our retail locations. The role is mostly project work, not tickets. Our IT Technician handles tier-1 support well on their own and rarely needs escalation, so the IT Manager spends most of their time on infrastructure projects, system standardization, and vendor management. The IT Manager supervises the IT Technician and is the operational owner of every IT system the company runs. This is an on-site role based at our Troy corporate office.Key ResponsibilitiesSystems Administration· Day-to-day administration of our Microsoft 365 and Entra ID tenant, including identity, groups, licensing, conditional access, and security policy. Entra ID is our identity platform end to end; there is no on-premises Active Directory here.· Manage the user, device, and access lifecycle across corporate and all retail locations.· Maintain SSO and SCIM integrations between Entra and our business applications, and add new ones as we onboard new systems.· Work with the Data and Systems team on identity-driven automation and provisioning.Network and Infrastructure· Manage and monitor the company network across all sites. Our environment is primarily Ubiquiti.· Audit network health and security on a regular cadence and remediate what you find.· Source and contract internet service for new retail locations and corporate sites.· Manage existing ISP contracts, renewals, and any service escalations.Telephony and Communications· Administer Zoom Phone across corporate and all store locations, covering provisioning, call routing, desk hardware, and the vendor relationship.· Manage the corporate cell phone fleet, including the carrier relationship, lines, devices, and cost control.Hardware and Procurement· Provision computers, peripherals, networking gear, and IT-related equipment for corporate and the stores.· Set hardware standards, keep an asset inventory, and plan refreshes.· Negotiate with vendors and resellers, and track IT spend against budget.People and Process· Supervise the IT Technician, including priorities, coverage, performance, and development.· Provide tier-2 and tier-3 escalation support and occasional after-hours coverage. Day-to-day tickets stay with the IT Technician.· Write and maintain SOPs for IT, covering onboarding and offboarding, network changes, incident response, hardware deployment, and vendor management.· Look for manual work, standardize it, document it, and automate it where it makes sense.Required Qualifications· Current, hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID in production, including experience setting up SSO and SCIM with business applications. Identity is the core of this role. We want someone who knows Entra inside and out and stays current with it.· Experience administering business networks, including switching, routing, wireless, and firewalls.· Comfortable managing vendors, contracts, renewals, and procurement.· Experience writing technical SOPs and operational documentation.· Strong project management skills. Able to scope, schedule, and deliver multi-site IT projects without daily oversight.· Has supervised or mentored at least one direct report.· Comfortable supporting distributed retail locations remotely with occasional site visits.Preferred Qualifications· Hands-on experience with Ubiquiti UniFi at multi-site scale.· Experience administering Zoom Phone or another multi-site cloud voice platform.· Background in multi-site retail, hospitality, or a regulated industry.· Familiarity with Intune or another MDM platform.· Cannabis industry experience (nice to have, not required).Who Wins This RoleQualifications get you the interview, fit wins the job.
