Job Title: Sales Representive/ Fronter
Job Location: In person/ In office , Melville NY
Job Type: FULL-TIME (M-F 8:30 am - 6pm)
We are seeking a motivated and personable Sales Representative (Fronter) to serve as the first point of contact for prospective health insurance clients. In this role, you will engage with inbound and outbound leads, identify their level of interest, and qualify individuals who are genuinely seeking health insurance coverage. Qualified and serious prospects are then seamlessly transferred to a licensed sales agent to complete the enrollment process.
This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in sales or insurance, with opportunities for advancement into a licensed sales role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Make outbound calls and/or handle inbound inquiries from potential health insurance customers
  • Engage prospects in friendly, professional conversations to understand their needs and intent
  • Ask qualifying questions to determine eligibility, interest level, and readiness to enroll
  • Clearly explain the next steps in the health insurance enrollment process (without selling or advising on plans)
  • Identify and filter out uninterested, unqualified, or non-serious leads
  • Accurately document call outcomes and customer information in the CRM system
  • Warm-transfer or schedule qualified, serious prospects with licensed sales agents
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, call scripts, and data privacy standards
  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly activity and qualification targets
What This Role Is Not
  • No closing of sales
  • No quoting, recommending, or enrolling in insurance plans
  • No license is required for this role

Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Comfortable speaking on the phone for extended periods
  • Ability to build quick rapport and handle objections professionally
  • Organized, reliable, and goal-oriented
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous call center, customer service, or sales experience is a plus but not required
