Job description

Role Summary:

The NVM Reliability team is responsible for characterizing, modeling, and enabling next-generation Non-Volatile Memory technologies, enabling new product creation company-wide.

Job Responsibility:
  • Manage execution of NVM reliability characterization experiments, working closely with experienced engineers and technicians.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase laboratory efficiency, equipment utilization, and execution quality.
  • Maintain lab equipment (read schematics, trouble-shoot, coordinate with vendors and trades).
  • Develop software and systems for monitoring, automation, and data processing (database, web server, Linux/Windows)
  • Assist in developing/debugging evaluation software (embedded C/C++).
  • Debug hardware (Oscilloscope, logic analyzer, debugger, etc.). PCB schematics and components.
  • Perform statistical analysis of reliability characterization data.
  • Communicate study conclusions and recommendations to internal and external teams.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and engineering standards.
Job Qualification:
  • Bachelor's or Masterโ€™s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Physics, or equivalent, within the past 2 years.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages, data processing, and analysis (e.g. Python, JMP, Exensio, etc.).
  • Software development experience, such as familiarity with microcontroller software development (C/C++) is desired.
  • Interest in statistics and solid-state device fundamentals, especially as applied to emerging non-volatile memory technologies like MRAM and RRAM.
  • Must be curious, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work in a team environment, communicate effectively, and solve problems.
