Job description

YOU KNOW GYM FLOORS. WE KNOW WHAT THAT SKILL IS WORTH.
If you can run a rider and walk-behind sander, understand hardwood gym floors, know the difference between oil- and water-based finishing systems, and can lead a crew without someone holding your hand - we want to talk to you.
This is NOT an entry-level position.
We aren't looking for someone who has "helped" on a few gym floors. We are looking for an experienced Sports Flooring Foreman who can take ownership of a hardwood gym flooring project and get it done right.
WHAT WE'RE PAYING
$30-$42 PER HOUR - DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Moreover, that's just the start:
  • Take-home company vehicle
  • Company gas card
  • Bonus opportunities
  • Year-round work
  • Relocation assistance for the right person
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Paid Holidays
  • Paid Vacation
  • 401(k) with 4% Company Match

If you're good at what you do, we're willing to pay for it.
YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR CRAFT
We're looking for someone with real, hands-on experience with:
  • Hardwood gym and athletic flooring
  • Rider sanding machines
  • Walk-behind sanding machines
  • Edging and detailed sanding
  • Sanding sequences and proper floor preparation
  • Oil-based sealers and finishes
  • Water-based sealers and finishes
  • Gym floor paints
  • Game lines, graphics, and logos
  • Hardwood floor installation, refinishing, and maintenance
  • Running a small crew
  • Running an active jobsite
  • Quality control, production, and jobsite safety

You need to be comfortable being the person responsible for the finished product.
WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR ENTRY LEVEL
We'll train good people for other positions.
This isn't one of them.
For this role, we need someone who already knows sports flooring and can bring experience to the table.
If you can walk into a gym, look at the floor, understand the scope, get your crew moving, run the equipment, solve problems, and deliver a finished product you're proud of - that's who we're looking for.
TIRED OF CHASING WORK?
Sports flooring can be seasonal.
Your paycheck shouldn't be.
We have YEAR-ROUND WORK and are looking for someone who wants more than their next project. We want a Foreman who wants to build a career and become a key part of our Sports Flooring operation.
DON'T LIVE HERE? WE DON'T CARE.
If you're an experienced hardwood gym flooring professional living somewhere else in the Midwest - or anywhere else in the country - APPLY ANYWAY.
We are willing to help relocate the right person.
We would rather invest in bringing in a proven craftsman than settle for someone who doesn't have the experience.
THINK YOU'RE ONE OF THE BEST?
Then let's talk.
If you know hardwood gym floors, can run the sanding equipment, understand finishing systems, can lead people, and take pride in doing the job right, we want to hear from you.
$30-$42/HR. Take-home truck. Gas card. Bonuses. Benefits. 401(k) match. Paid time off. Year-round work. Relocation assistance.
Bring the skill. We'll bring the opportunity.
Apply today.
