The Dishwasher will ensure all ware, dishes, utensils, and equipment from the front and back of the house are clean and sanitized. Maintain kitchen work areas to assure they are in clean orderly condition.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain all standards regarding sanitation, food preparation, and storage.
Scrapes food from dirty dishes.
Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and trays by hand or places them in racks for the dishwashing machine.
Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in its correct place.
Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
Removes trash and garbage within the main kitchen and places it in designated containers during and at the end of shift.
Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
Maintain dry storage area, walk-in cooler, and main kitchen floors.
Maintain the dumpster area and keep the dock clean.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Good listening, comprehension, and communication skills
Ability to understand and follow directions.
Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.
Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.
