JOB SUMMARY

Delivers high level of service to course patrons, serves beverages and other stock items as requested.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Operate beverage cart in a safe and responsible manner per defined course route.
  2. Serve course patrons beverages and other stock items quickly.
  3. Attends Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and adheres to the Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service policy.
  4. Verifies identification of patrons requesting alcoholic beverages who appear under 35 years of age.
  5. Maintains and accounts for the “bank” on the cart.
  6. Maintains the stock on the cart; loading and unloading of stock.
  7. Completes the beverage cart worksheet and other processes to ensure accurate count and tracking of inventory and tips.
  8. Ensures the cleanliness of the cart and removes trash at the end of the shift.
  9. Complies with golf course etiquette rules.
  10. Maintains neat, well groomed, professional appearance and demeanor. Adheres to club dress code always.
  11. Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the club and the Company by being service- and solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all club staff and members/guests, and meeting established quality, service and safety expectations.
  12. Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.
  13. Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.
Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  1. Must have the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
  2. Good oral communication skills.
  3. Able to safely operate the beverage cart.
  4. Has attained the legal serving age per state regulations.
  5. Can compute simple math and count change accurately.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. High Diploma or GED required.
  2. Previous experience in a customer service position preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Seeing and hearing: read documents, computer screen, answer phones, communicate in person 50-75%
  • Standing and walking 50-75%
  • Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling 25-50%
  • Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, writing and Driving 50-100%
  • Lift in excess of 25 pounds 0-24%
