Job Summary:
AA2IT is seeking a Software Engineer I to join their team in Orlando, FL. The role involves building infrastructure for observability and enhancing the team's AI and ML capabilities while collaborating with other teams to derive insights from data.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Build and operate the infrastructure that enables observability of critical assets across the organization. Client foundational components and expand the team's AI and ML capabilities.
โ€ข Learn and apply industry best practices and modern development and operations techniques such as CI/CD, IaC, DevOps, containerization, cloud and serverless architecture
โ€ข Submit quality contributions to various code, configuration, and knowledge bases and review the contributions of others.
โ€ข Participate in team practices such as: planning, retrospectives, peer review, working sessions, POCs, etc
โ€ข Enable data driven and proactive decisions through:
โ€ข Collaborating with other teams to understand their systems.
โ€ข Collecting and analyzing logs, metrics, and traces from a wide range of infrastructure, applications, networks, and other sources.
โ€ข Deriving insights from data by creating alerts, reports, and visualizations that are interactive and clear.
โ€ข Apply debugging and troubleshooting skills to determine the root causes of issues in systems and resolve them.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Candidates must have completed HS / GED
โ€ข Candidates are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science/Data Science or equivalent field
โ€ข Entry Level Role, on par with an Internship level role. No prior professional experience is required or expected.
โ€ข Candidates must be local to the Orlando area or be within a 30 mile radius to the Orlando Facility Address.
โ€ข Role is Part Time, 20 hours per week.
โ€ข No set schedule as Leadership will be as flexible as possible in case chosen candidate is a College student with weekly classes.
