Job Description

We're looking for an energetic and high-potential Business Development Representative (BDR) to help drive RBmedia's growth in a dynamic, expanding digital media marketplace. This is an entry-level inside sales role that will be responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities for the Company's inside and field sales teams.  

The primary responsibility is to position our full suite of digital content and services to prospects thus generating interest in our products. You will be responsible for both inbound and outbound lead generation across all of our North American market segments, focusing on high-volume prospecting.  Your focus will be to meet or exceed the overall sales objectives, with most activity oriented to the top of the sales funnel.  

This role will position you for rapid advancement into a full-cycle sales role.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Meeting or exceeding established sales quotas and KPIs 
  • Conducting a high volume of outbound telephone calls to potential customers to identify decision-makers and opportunities to set appointments for Sales Representatives
  • Conducting background research on leads from Company and external databases
  • Discovering new leads through internet research and social media (including LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Engaging with prospects via continuously evolving omnichannel touchpoints
  • Working with the Inside Sales Manager to define and execute prospecting campaigns
  • Tracking all sales activities within Salesforce and effectively using high-volume automation tools to improve productivity and results
  • Being a driven individual and collaborative team player-continuously striving to produce better results
Qualifications
  •  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Energy and desire to make 40-50+ phone calls daily
  • "Hunter" mentality in seeking out new business
  • Ability to build strong personal relationships with prospects, customers, partners and employees
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, through email and via telephone
  • Proficiency with social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+) and internet technologies (CRMs, Office Products)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong ability to engage and persuade
  • Unparalleled salesmanship: able to dynamically craft customized solutions that meet the needs of customers while capturing maximum value
  • Native-level fluency in written and spoken English
