95% - State Vehicle Upkeep Assistance
  • Drop off and pick up vehicles for maintenance.
  • Take vehicles through car wash, vacuum and light clean interiors.
  • Refuel vehicles as needed.
  • Assist in the check-in/check-out process for vehicle keys.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and scanning documents.
5% - Other Duties as Assigned,The Kansas Geological Survey (KGS) is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented student to support general administrative tasks and assist in the maintenance and coordination of KGS state vehicles. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day operations of a vital research organization.
This student position has flexible hours, 10-15 hours per week, during business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday). Students must be available to work in blocks of at least three consecutive hours. For more information about the Kansas Geological Survey (KGS) visit our website. This position is located on-site at the Lawrence, KS, west campus.
This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform light physical tasks related to vehicle upkeep with or without reasonable accommodation. A valid driver's license is required.
