About the Job

As a Contract Body Actor, you'll bring characters to life by performing movements and interactions within Minecraft, Roblox, or both.


This role is ideal for an actor and gamer who loves narrative storytelling and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. You should have a strong sense of character performance and be comfortable bringing both scripted and improvised moments to life. A proactive mindset, strong creative instincts, and passion for creating engaging content will help you stand out. Performance reel or gameplay sample demonstrating previous in-game character performance is required.


Expected hours are 0-30/week, depending on availability and the recording schedules with sessions typically held between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM CT, but may occasionally include after-hours work.


What You'll Do

  • Operate characters in-game during recording sessions, performing scripted and improvised character actions during gameplay (no costume, mocap, or greenscreen work involved)
  • Follow in-game blocking, choreography, and movement instructions to match tone and pacing
  • Perform vocal reference performances in the style of existing cast members (your voice and likeness will not appear in published content)
  • Adapt performances to meet Catface's tone, quality, and audience expectations
  • Maintain professionalism during recording sessions
  • Provide weekly availability and prompt attendance to scheduled sessions


What We're Looking For

  • Must have at least two (2) years' experience playing Minecraft
  • Strong improvisation skills and a sense of comedic timing
  • Experience using Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar recording software
  • Ability to learn, replicate, and perform assigned character movements
  • Headphones, microphone suitable for clear reference audio, and a high-speed internet connection are required technical equipment
  • A computer capable of running modded Minecraft smoothly (recommended setup includes an NVIDIA graphics card, at least 16 GB of RAM)
  • Flexible availability, including the ability to record with a notice of 24 hours' or less
  • Must be at least 18 years old
