We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager, Inside Sales, to develop and lead the Inside Sales team to drive ticket sales revenue across Player 15 Group entities, including but not limited to the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, and PHX Arena. This role focuses on recruiting, training, and mentoring entry-level sales representatives to build a strong talent pipeline for senior-level revenue positions. The ideal candidate will cultivate a high-performance sales culture, implement effective training programs, and provide hands-on leadership to maximize revenue and professional growth. What You Will Do:
  • Talent Recruitment, Development & Training.
  • Foster an environment focused on exceeding revenue expectations, activity leading to desired outcomes, and continuous training to support accelerated development.
  • Develop a structured ongoing recruitment & onboarding process to attract and retain premier entry-level talent.
  • Design and implement comprehensive sales training program that continuously enhances skillsets, sales techniques, and overall product knowledge.
  • Conduct bi-weekly one-on-one coaching sessions to provide mentorship, career development guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Develop and maintain sales manuals, training materials, and best-practice guidelines for accountability and performance improvement.
  • Assist in the planning, communication, and execution of ticket sales campaigns, special projects, and strategic sales initiatives.
  • Performance Management.
  • Establish and communicate clear revenue goals while accurately tracking individual and team performance.
  • Coach towards aggressive daily and weekly activity expectations, providing feedback, guidance, and leadership.
  • Assist team on sales appointments, meetings, calls, and game-day responsibilities.
  • Develop innovative sales contests, incentives, and recognition programs to drive inspiration and results.
  • Ensure internal system compliance and reporting outputs across all aspects of daily activities and outcomes.
  • Deliver first-class customer experience, strengthening retention and renewals.
  • Game Day & Event Responsibilities.
  • Organize and oversee Inside Sales team responsibilities on game days, including prospecting events and networking opportunities.
  • Attend Suns and Mercury home games, leveraging events and in-game activations to acquire potential customers.
  • Support the execution of special ticketing promotions, group outings, and fan engagement initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Leadership.
  • Work closely across departments, including Marketing, Fan Experience, and Business Intelligence, to align on campaigns and initiatives.
  • Ensure that all Inside Sales Consultants are delivering a first-class customer experience, strengthening retention and renewals.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to create a strong pipeline of future sales talent within the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall ticket sales and service strategy.

Experience/ Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sports management, or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • 3-5 years of ticket sales or service experience within the sports and entertainment industry.
