The AI Application Senior Full-Stack Developer designs, builds, tests, and deploys user-facing applications and interfaces that bring Forge AI capabilities into production workflows.
This role sits at the intersection of modern full-stack engineering and enterprise AI enablement, creating the applications, dashboards, workflow interfaces, and human-agent interaction layers that teammates actually use every day.
This is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on building business applications that integrate AI services, agent outputs, workflow automation, enterprise APIs, and governed data sources.
The developer is expected to work across front-end experiences, back-end services, API contracts, orchestration layers, and secure deployment pipelines while maintaining strong usability, accessibility, observability, and production quality standards.
Daily work includes building React/Next.js-style front ends, API services, workflow interfaces, administrative consoles, AI-assisted user experiences, and application integrations with enterprise systems.
The role supports the Forge model of startup-speed execution within enterprise controls, using approved engineering accelerators while remaining accountable for architecture, code quality, testing, security, and release readiness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and build user-facing business applications, workflow interfaces, dashboards, administrative tools, and AI-integrated experiences that operationalize Forge capabilities for enterprise users.

  • Develop full-stack features across front-end, back-end, and API layers, including interfaces that present AI outputs, workflow states, confidence indicators, review steps, and human-in-the-loop decisions.

  • Implement application patterns that integrate AI services, prompts, agents, workflow automation, and enterprise data securely and reliably into business applications.

  • Build andmaintainreusable UI components, application modules, and service patterns that align with the Forge design system, accessibility expectations, and enterprise engineering standards.

  • Create and support back-end services, APIs, and orchestration endpoints that power application workflows, AI-enabled features, and integrations with enterprise systems or tools.

  • Use approved engineering acceleration tools to speed development, testing, refactoring, and documentation while preserving code quality, traceability, and maintainability.

  • Write andmaintainautomated tests across UI, API, and integration layers, ensuring application stability and reliable release quality as AI-enabled features evolve.

  • Optimizeapplication performance, reliability, and usability across the full stack, including front-end responsiveness, API efficiency, error handling, and observability instrumentation.

  • Partner with design, product, AI engineering, security, QA, and platform teams to ensure applications are useful, secure, governed, andproduction-ready.

  • Participatein sprint planning, code reviews, release preparation, and production support workflows, contributing as a senior technical builder and delivery partner.

  • Document architecture, implementation decisions, integration patterns, operational runbooks, and reusable development guidance for broader Forge adoption.

  • Contribute reusable patterns and senior-level engineeringjudgmentto improve the speed, quality, and consistency of application delivery across the Forge portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field

  • Five to seven years of experience in software development or a related field

  • Five to seven years of experience in database technologies

  • Five to seven years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)


Additional Requirements:

  • 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience building and supporting production web applications or enterprise application platforms.

  • Strong front-end engineering skills with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and component-based UI development patterns.

  • Strong back-end engineering skills building APIs, services, and application logic in modern enterprise engineering stacks.

  • Experience integrating applications with APIs, workflow engines, enterprise systems, authentication layers, and data services.

  • Experience building applications that surface AI outputs, workflow states, or automation results in a way users canact onsafely and efficiently.

  • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, code review practices, and release-quality controls in modern engineering teams.

  • Ability to work across architecture, usability, performance, reliability, and maintainability concerns rather than only a single stack layer.

  • Strong communicationskills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional enterprise delivery teamsoperatingat high speed within governance controls.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience building AI-enabled applications, copilots, workflow tools, or interfaces that incorporate prompts, agent outputs, or intelligent automation.

  • Experience with Microsoft, Azure, Copilot / Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or enterprise AI productivity and workflow platforms.

  • Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, Python-based APIs, or comparable modern full-stack application development stacks.

  • Experience with design systems, accessibility implementation, and high-quality business application UI delivery.

  • Experience in financial services, cybersecurity, or other regulated enterprise environments with strong audit, control, and release expectations.

  • Experience instrumenting applications for observability, telemetry, production support, and operational insight.

  • Experience mentoring peers, reviewing design or code quality, andoperatingas a senior-level implementation leader within engineering delivery teams.
