On-site only: This position is not remote. You must be able to work from our Provo, Utah office during normal business hours (Monday-Friday). Occasional evenings or weekends may be needed for critical launches and go-lives.

What you'll do

  • Assist in the design, build, and scale production systems across the stack (frontend and backend) in order to power our AI conversation and workflow platform.
  • Assist with architecture for microservices and event-driven systems while setting patterns for reliability, performance, and observability.
  • Ship high-quality, secure features from spec to production, including API design, data modeling, code reviews, CI/CD, and instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with AI and Product teams to turn business problems into robust software that integrates prompts, automations, and guardrails.
  • Improve developer experience through testing strategies, build pipelines, documentation, and operational runbooks.
  • Partner with Customer Success during go-lives to ensure smooth deployments and capture learnings.

Who you are

  • 1+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production systems at scale.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or similar) plus HTML/CSS and responsive design.
  • An understanding of Go or Python (Go preferred) with a strong understanding of API design, concurrency, and performance tuning.
  • Some experience with PostgreSQL including indexing, query optimization, and migrations with a pragmatic approach to data modeling.
  • Strong communicator who can explain tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to deliver outcomes in a startup environment.
