 6:00A-2:30PM  M-FPosition SummaryThe purpose of this position is to complete units to specifications of daily orders. TRAINING MAY OCCUR ON A DIFFERENT SHIFT FOR UP TO ONE MONTH. Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
  • Follows specific requirements of a particular job order.
  • Fabricates according to daily production requirements.
  • Communicates and work with entry level employees in various phases.
  • Follows specific directions from department supervisor and see that these directions are carried out.
  • Make sure area is kept organized and 5S procedures and policies are followed.
  • Audit completed product to assure it meets order requirements and YKK quality standards.
  • Communicate non-conforming product issue to Manager / Supervisor.
  • Set up machines and equipment.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed for business purposes.
 Qualifications and Skill Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED (minimum)
  • Must have at least two years of manufacturing experience preferably in a fabrication or production environment
  • Basic computer skills with good working knowledge of Excel and Word software preferred
  • Must have good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Be vigilant about safety
  • Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
 Physical Requirements 
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift during the shift
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Must work effectively in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Must be able to wear all required personal protective equiment(PPE) and comply with safety policies.
