Build Your Skills Behind the Scenes at Mile High

Mile High Flea Market - Denver’s iconic shopping and entertainment destination for more than 40 years - is looking for a dependable, hands-on Mechanic to join our Maintenance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with tools, and learning new skills. Previous mechanical experience is helpful, but entry-level candidates with related hands-on experience and a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

You will help maintain the vehicles, equipment, machinery, and amusement rides that keep our market operating safely and smoothly. No two days are exactly the same; you may be inspecting a ride, repairing equipment, operating machinery, supporting a special event, or helping prepare the property for changing weather conditions.

Monday–Friday | 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain and service company vehicles, equipment, machinery, and amusement rides.
  • Inspect rides and equipment for wear, damage, and proper operation.
  • Prepare rides for seasonal opening and assist with disassembly at the end of the season.
  • Assemble and install replacement parts and test equipment for safe operation.
  • Use welding equipment, power tools, and hand tools to complete repairs and installations.
  • Operate lot sweepers, sand spreaders, golf carts, and other assigned machinery.
  • Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Assist with special events, property projects, and snow removal as needed.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and equipment-operating guidelines.
  • Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Mechanical, automotive, equipment maintenance, welding, construction, or other hands-on experience is preferred.
  • Entry-level candidates with basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn are welcome.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to follow instructions.
  • Positive attitude and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team.
  • Commitment to following company policies and safety procedures.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, push, pull, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry tools, parts, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate tools, vehicles, and maintenance equipment.
Full-Time Benefits & Perks

Eligible full-time team members may enjoy:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid vacation and time-off benefits.
  • DailyPay available — access your earned pay when you need it.
  • Discounted employee meals on market days.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Employee referral program.
  • ADP employee discounts.
  • Employee recognition and appreciation events.
  • NMFA scholarship opportunities.
  • Career growth and advancement opportunities.
  • Opportunities to expand your mechanical and technical skills.
  • A supportive, team-oriented work environment.
