The Staff Pad has partnered with a well-established logistics and warehousing organization we are looking to hire a dependable, safety-focused Entry-Level Driver for our Chicago, IL location. In this role, you'll operate 16'-26' straight box trucks on local and interstate routes, transport furniture, personal effects, and, with training, fine art and antiques. What You'll Do Safely operate 16'-26' company box trucks for local and interstate collections and deliveries Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and prepared Verify goods against daily trip sheets or manifests before departure Report manifest changes to the Dispatch Manager and obtain approval before implementation Assist with loading and unloading using hand trucks, pallet jacks, J-bars, dollies, and other material handling equipment Support residential moves, collections, and deliveries of furniture and personal effects Learn and apply proper techniques for handling, packing, and transporting fine art, antiques, and fragile items as training progresses Complete accurate trip sheets, condition reports, and other required documentation Complete manual timesheets and obtain supervisor or manager signatures within 24 hours when starting or ending the workday off-site Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company positively in client-facing situations What We Are Looking For We are seeking licensed, experienced drivers who take pride in safe, reliable, and careful service.

No prior art-handling experience is required, as training will be provided.
