We have an exciting opportunity for a Preventive Maintenance Sales Representative located in Chicago, IL.

How you will contribute

We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual who enjoys selling, has strong interpersonal skills, is independent, resilient, and detail-oriented. The primary role of this position is to promote and sell service agreements for fire protection system inspections, primarily fire alarm, but also include some non-water-based fire suppression systems. This position is responsible to establish contact with potential buyers of service contacts by scheduling calls and following up on leads while closing sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives. You will demonstrate your ability to anticipate customers' needs and develop a sales strategy to meet their expectations while developing and maintaining a positive ongoing customer relationship.

What you need to qualify

The ideal candidate will bring successful business-to-business selling experience of service-based offerings.  Knowledge of the Chicago market will be extremely beneficial. Having the skill and ability to persuade and close sales while handling various situations that may be encountered throughout the sales process is key. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial.
