Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial mechanical and automated machinery at customer facilities. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced industrial environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and start up industrial machinery and automated equipment at customer sites
  • Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system issues
  • Complete service repairs and replace defective components as needed
  • Support customers with equipment operation, technical issues, and process improvements
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation
  • Perform machine testing, calibration, and operational verification
  • Document service activities, repairs, and maintenance reports accurately
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and support
  • Travel to customer locations as required for service calls, installations, and scheduled maintenance


Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred
  • Experience working with industrial machinery, automation systems, or manufacturing equipment
