  • Pay Rate: Starting at $22 per hour
  • Schedule: Full-Time. Tuesday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; Saturday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (1st shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM training schedule for the first 90 days)

What will you do? Make an impact!

As a Lab Supervisor with Tradebe, you will oversee daily laboratory operations, including testing hazardous waste and chemical samples received at our plants. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hazardous materials and chemistry.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of safety by prioritizing and ensuring compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures. 
  • Perform wet chemistry laboratory tasks, including pH testing, moisture analysis, oxidation, and titration.
  • Process waste samples daily, including but not limited to fuel compatibility testing, bomb calorimetry, GC analysis, and metals analysis.
  • Calibrate laboratory equipment daily, such as calorimeters, pH meters, GC-MS, and GC-FID.
  • Provide additional laboratory support in areas like standards preparation, record keeping, and other general duties as assigned.
Do you have what it takes?
  • Associate's degree in chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in wet chemistry procedures, gas chromatography, and other general lab practices preferred
  • Hazardous Materials training desired
  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus
