Colton RV & Marine is looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to join the Body Shop team as an Apprentice Auto Body Technician/Prepper. This is a great opportunity to start a career in RV body repair and paint while working alongside experienced technicians who will train and mentor you.


In this role, you'll be part of a fast-paced, team-oriented shop where quality work, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship matter. You'll assist with prep work, fiberglass repairs, and daily shop operations while learning the skills needed to grow into a Body Technician.

Requirements

What You'll Do:

  • Assist Body Technician with prepping units for paint, including sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces
  • Support fiberglass repair processes and general body shop tasks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Research parts needed for repairs
  • Assist with ordering parts and ensure accuracy upon arrival
  • Move units and materials as needed within the shop
  • Follow all safety procedures and Colton quality standards

What We're Looking For:

  • 1+ year of automotive or auto body experience preferred (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
  • Recent graduates of an auto body or collision repair program are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Interest in auto body, collision repair, or hands-on mechanical work
  • Basic knowledge of body shop tools and repair processes is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license preferred
