Job Description
Fiber Glass Systems, a business under NOV is hiring!
These DAY SHIFT positions are routinely scheduled Monday through Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm.
This entry-level position is located in Andrews, TX, and ensures the safe and quality finishing of our tanks and wastewater products before shipment to our customers.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in assembly and fabrication of finished products
  • Assist in fabricating, preparing, and installing fittings and other component parts
  • Repairs product defects (including, but not limited to, grinding, patching, etc.) as marked by appropriate personnel
  • Visually inspects, take measurements and other process checks and notifies appropriate personnel of off-quality material
  • Operate equipment, power tools, assembly jigs and material handling equipment (including, but not limited to, circular saws, hand drills, sanders, etc.)
  • Wear appropriate PPE
  • Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Forklift license preferred but no required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes
  • Standing up to 12 hours daily
  • Walking up to 12 hours daily
  • Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
  • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
  • Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
