Waypoint Marine is a family-owned boat dealership and service center in Rogers, Arkansas, proudly serving Northwest Arkansas boaters for decades. We specialize in boat sales, service, parts, and high-quality fiberglass and gel coat repairs for boats, RVs, personal watercraft, and other fiberglass products. Weโ€™re looking for someone who wants to learn the trade and grow with us for the long haul.

The Opportunity

Weโ€™re hiring a motivated learner to join our team and train in fiberglass repair, gel coat work, buffing, and polishing. Experience is helpful but not required โ€” what matters most is a strong work ethic, a desire to learn a skilled trade, and the intention to stick around and build a career here. Youโ€™ll train alongside experienced technicians and gradually take on more responsibility as your skills develop.

What Youโ€™ll Learn & Do

  • Assist with and learn fiberglass and gel coat repairs (chips, cracks, structural damage, and cosmetic finishing)
  • Learn proper surface preparation, material mixing, fiberglass application, and gel coat work
  • Develop skills in buffing and polishing to restore shine and achieve a professional finish
  • Support the service department with shop organization, material handling, and general production tasks
  • Follow safety procedures and quality standards while working in a hands-on shop environment
  • Grow into more independent repair and finishing work over time as skills and confidence improve
