Job description

Job Summary
The incumbent will have the primary responsibilities for loading finished goods to internal and external customers and facilities, unloading finished goods and raw materials from outside vendors while verifying accuracy. It will be the responsibility of the incumbent to achieve excellence in executing the assigned inventory stocking, counting and picking plans. Also, this Warehouse Associate position will adhere to all OSHA warehouse and forklift safety rules and company's safety policies and procedures. This includes safety awareness and practices, safely driving, loading, unloading, staging of product inside and outside of the warehouse operations.
In addition, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible and accountable for working collaboratively with the warehouse operations team and fleet operations to create a positive and productive work environment. This Warehouse Associate position reports directly to the Supervisor,
Warehouse Services.
Essential Duties

  • Maintain a working knowledge of safe and proper lift truck operations according to OSHA and Hawk's policies. Properly wear safety PPE at all times. Work safely and follow safety procedures. Operate lift truck in accordance with OSHA and Hawk's policies. Routinely perform housekeeping duties.

  • Load and unload (rail/trucks), transfer finished goods and raw materials to various designated warehouse storage yards and locations. Pick orders and load timely and accurately, print BOL's, while following proper loading procedures at all times. Load finished goods on trucks for transfer to internal and external customer's facilities. Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts as required.

  • Maintain working knowledge of proper rail car and truck trailer loading, handling and staging. Maintain neat, clean and orderly work area (truck, trailer and warehouse). Maintain accurate product count and bin locations. Continuous improvement is evident in every facet of job performance. Consistently perform job at the highest possible level, setting high standards for safety, accuracy and efficiency.

  • Work collaboratively with the warehouse operations team and fleet operations to create a positive and productive work environment. Assist in all areas of the Logistics operation as assigned by management.

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
