Join the Farmers Insurance - DeLong Agency, a top performing and growing agency dedicated to providing insurance solutions in helping our clients protect what matters most. You will have the opportunity to learn and train with one of the top producing Farmers agencies in central Kansas. In this position, your main task will be to market and support office sales through our range of insurance products and solutions. Our agency specializes in auto, home, life and small business insurance. You will work closely with the agent and district office to gain the knowledge and necessary skills for success. Advancement opportunities available including Agency ownership.

Responsibilities
  • Connect with and build relationships with current and prospective customers
  • Educate people on insurance needs and products
  • Reach out to insurance consumers and help inform them on available insurance options
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all necessary paperwork.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with agents to perform comprehensive policy reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance coverage.
  • Help inform clients about available insurance options and their benefits.
  • Actively engage in training sessions and workshops.
  • Work closely with Mentor Agent and the District Office.
  • Continuously expand your insurance knowledge and sales expertise.

Requirements

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

  • Previous experience in sales, particularly in insurance, is a plus.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Personal Attributes

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for helping clients.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Licensing

  • Must possess a valid insurance license (or be willing to obtain one within a specified timeframe).
