Job Summary

The Entry-Level Team Member supports daily agricultural production and or egg-processing operations across multiple departments. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production workflows while maintaining compliance with animal welfare, food safety, and biosecurity standards. Positions may include general production, maintenance support, sanitation, support services, and flock care. The Entry-Level Team Member supports daily agricultural production and egg-processing operations across multiple departments at the farm. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production workflows while maintaining compliance with animal welfare, food safety, and biosecurity standards. Positions may include general production, maintenance support, CDL driving, sanitation, support services, and flock care.
Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities vary by department and may include:
Agricultural Production & Flock Care
  • Assist with daily barn operations, egg collection, and flock monitoring.
  • Support pullet care, including vaccinations and flock health programs.
  • Follow all animal welfare and biosecurity procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of barns, equipment, and work areas.

Egg Processing
  • Support washing, grading, and packaging of eggs.
  • Operate basic machinery under supervision.
  • Maintain quality and food safety standards in accordance with USDA and FDA regulations.
  • Assist with production line workflow and documentation.

Maintenance Support
  • Assist technicians with basic repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Perform equipment checks and report issues promptly.
  • Maintain clean and organized maintenance and work areas.

Support Services
  • Assist with inventory handling, supply management, and facility upkeep.
  • Support logistics, data entry, and simple administrative tasks.
  • Assist operations teams during flock moves, vaccinations, and special projects.

CDL Driving (if applicable)
  • Operate vehicles safely to transport feed, materials, or eggs between locations.
  • Comply with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Required Qualifications
  • No previous experience required; training provided.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in agricultural or production environments.
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance.
  • Ability to work weekends or holidays as needed.
  • For CDL roles: Valid Class A or B CDL.
