Job description

General Statement of Job Under general supervision, performs customer service work in the rental operations on the beach and Beach Services warehouse facility. Work involves working closely with the Concession Manager; and renting beach chairs and umbrellas. Responsible for servicing multiple rental locations in a mobile capacity.

Works as backup for Beach Italian Ice Cart Attendant as needed. Reports to the Concession Manager. Minimum Training and Experience Entry level position.

Must be at least 16 years of age. Experience in customer service related field preferred. Must have reliable transportation to get from Beach Services warehouse to the beach.

Physical Requirements Tasks involve the ability to exert moderate, though not constant, physical effort, typically involving some combination of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting or carrying objects up to 40 pounds, and pushing and/or pulling of wheeled beach carts and materials weighing up to 150 pounds. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions on the oceanfront. Required to be a licensed driver and, upon employment, must complete our Beach Driving Safety course.
