To thrive as an Entry Level ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) professional, you typically need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, finance, or business, and a foundational understanding of sustainability concepts. Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (like GRI or SASB), data analysis tools (such as Excel), and sometimes certifications like SASB FSA or GRI Standards are often required. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities help candidates excel in both data-driven tasks and cross-functional collaboration.
