Engagement: Full-time position
Work arrangement: Dallas,Tx Hybrid - 3 days in the office and frequent travel to Monett
Eligibility: Visa-independent candidates only
Overview
We are seeking an experienced ERP Functional Analyst / Business Systems Analyst with strong business knowledge in supply chain and/or manufacturing operations. This role is not tied to a specific ERP platform; experience with commercial ERP solutions or homegrown business systems is welcome.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of end-to-end business processes and will be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders, super users, and technical teams. This person will be responsible for understanding operational needs, translating them into functional requirements, identifying opportunities for process and system improvements, and supporting the delivery of practical solutions.
We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on professional who can work independently, take ownership of initiatives, and travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders and super users to understand supply chain and manufacturing processes, operational challenges, and system requirements.
  • Serve as the functional liaison between business users and technical teams, translating business needs into clear functional requirements and practical system solutions.
  • Analyze end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing processes, including areas such as procurement, inventory management, order management, production, planning, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Identify process gaps, system limitations, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience.
  • Provide functional support for ERP or homegrown business systems, helping users resolve process, configuration, workflow, and system-related issues.
  • Lead or support requirements-gathering sessions, process reviews, functional workshops, and solution-design discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Prepare functional specifications, process flows, business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for system enhancements and new solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers, integration teams, and other technical resources to ensure solutions meet business and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate and participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, issue resolution, version upgrades, and successful deployment of system enhancements.
  • Support reporting and analytics initiatives by defining business requirements, validating data, and ensuring reports and dashboards provide meaningful operational insights.
  • Develop and maintain functional documentation, process procedures, training materials, and system-related best practices.
  • Support user training, change management, and adoption of new processes and system functionality.
  • Independently manage assigned initiatives, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and next steps while providing clear updates to stakeholders.
  • Travel to business locations as needed to work directly with users, understand operational processes, and support implementations or improvement initiatives

Requirements
  • Hands-on ERP experience in a manufacturing/supply chain or distribution environment.
  • Solid understanding of core manufacturing and business processes, including MRP, production planning, inventory and materials management, procure to pay, and order to cash.
  • Ability to translate business process needs into ERP configuration and reporting solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying and reporting.
  • Familiarity with ERP customization, scripting, and standard reporting tools.
  • General understanding of system integrations and how ERP exchanges data with other applications (for example REST or SOAP based web services).
  • Basic understanding of relational database concepts and data flows between systems.
  • Strong problem solving ability, comfortable working with business users and adapting in fast paced ERP environments.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with NetSuite or Syteline.
  • Exposure to BI and reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting shop floor, planning, or supply chain teams.
  • Participation in one or more full ERP implementation cycles.
  • Awareness of cloud hosted ERP environments.
