Compensation: $22-$25/hr DOE
Location: Ferndale, WA

Our client is a leading provider of hydraulic and automation components and systems, hoses, fittings, instrumentation, lubrication, and filtration products. They have an exciting opportunity for a Counter Sales role, which serves as a central point in the organization, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Counter Sales Job Responsibilities
  • Receive and process orders, prepare quotes, and communicate with customers, suppliers, and team members.
  • Use ERP system to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries.
  • Handle sales, supply, logistics, quotes, documentation, pricing, special orders, and tracking.
  • Promote to outside sales or additional operations roles as growth opportunities arise.

Qualifications
  • Customer service experience or strong aptitude.
  • Demonstrated organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Above average reasoning ability, experience with product line or marketplace.
  • Reliable, flexible for team work, and promotable.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills; basic MS Office.
  • Ability to read and differentiate alpha- and alphanumeric listings.
  • Valid driver's license, mechanical aptitude, and ability to work at a fast pace in a small employer type environment.
  • Physically able to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs, clean driving record.
