Entry-Level (3L) Tax Associate Company: HireNow Staffing (Direct Placement Partner) HireNow Snapshot HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly motivated Entry-Level (3L) Tax Associate to join one of our valued client partners. This full-time opportunity is designed for an outstanding third-year law student (3L) pursuing a career in sophisticated tax law. The successful candidate will join a nationally recognized tax practice advising clients on complex domestic and international tax matters involving mergers and acquisitions, transfer pricing, tax controversy, litigation, joint ventures, and emerging industries. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside highly respected tax attorneys while supporting a diverse client portfolio that includes Fortune 500 corporations, private companies, investment firms, and rapidly growing technology organizations. Key Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys with legal research involving federal, state, and international tax matters
  • Analyze complex tax issues affecting corporate transactions, business reorganizations, and strategic planning
  • Assist with drafting memoranda, legal opinions, correspondence, and tax planning documentation
  • Participate in due diligence activities for mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and joint ventures
  • Assist with tax controversy matters, audits, administrative proceedings, and litigation preparation
  • Conduct statutory, regulatory, and case law research while monitoring legislative developments
  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups on multidisciplinary client matters
  • Prepare client-ready work products while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Participate in client meetings, internal strategy discussions, and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, confidentiality, and legal excellence
Required Qualifications
  • Current third-year law student (3L) expected to graduate from an accredited law school
