Job description

A Dental Hygienist plays a critical role in promoting oral health by providing preventive dental care and education to patients. This position involves performing teeth cleanings, assessing gum health, and collaborating closely with dentists and office staff to deliver comprehensive dental care in a supportive environment. The role utilizes dental practice management software and focuses on treating fewer than 10 patients daily to ensure quality and personalized care without the need for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

  • Screen patients for oral health issues and collect dental histories
  • Perform professional teeth cleaning and plaque removal
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Operate dental X-ray equipment for diagnostic purposes
