Job description

King Surveyors is currently looking for a Crew Chief.
This Position will give you a wide variety of projects to work on which include, but will not be limited to: Boundary Surveying, Control, Construction Staking, Topographic Surveys, Ground support Aerial Surveys, ALTA’s, Easement/Right of Way Surveys and Residential.  
Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years’ total survey experience.
  • Must be experienced in controlling the function of surveying instruments and calculators.
  • Must be proficient in the use of robotic total stations, GPS Receivers and data collectors – Trimble preferred.
  • Ability to read construction plans and organize field notes.
  • Possess good social skills, and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Train and mentor entry level surveyors.
  • Attendance, punctuality and reliability are essential requirements.
  • Valid Driver’s License and with an insurable driving record.
  • Background check required.
  • Salary Range: $28 - $40, plus overtime pay.

  • PTO after 30 days. Accrual rates are based on years of employment.
