Position Title: Maintenance Engineer
General Description
  • Responsible for many different functions including performing root cause analysis of issues, troubleshoot problems, maintenance and repair of various mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system.
  • Assist in the development of a robust and efficient manufacturing systems.
  • Train and Support the entry level and maintenance technicians.
  • Attention to detail and clear understanding of the machines maintenance

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the daily activities of the maintenance organization meet production needs.
  • maintaining PM program on plant machinery and equipment
  • Provide planning and direction for maintenance
  • Support the development and implementation of new product manufacturing processes.
  • Establish, monitor and improve maintenance, troubleshooting to machine problems, including auxiliary equipment.
  • Foster team environment
  • Participate in improvement activities
  • Train and mentor maintenance technician staff.
  • Works with cross functional teams to develop the best standards for quality, process flow, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvements.
  • Perform root cause analysis on maintenance related issues.
  • Responsible for time and attendance of employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Must maintain a positive and supportive attitude conducive to SL’s work environment
