Targeted Victory is looking for an entry-level engineer to join our AI Development team to help us remain on the cutting edge. This role is suited to individuals who enjoy working on complex problems, are creative thinkers, and thrive in a flat hierarchy. This position is based in Arlington, VA and will report to one of the team’s experienced AI engineers, with direct mentorship from the company’s tech leadership.


  • Implement, maintain, and optimize core data pipelines
  • Identify new opportunities to use AI/ML technology to improve client fundraising and internal company efficiency
  • Become proficient in Targeted Victory’s data systems and workflows
  • Work across teams to track performance, test strategies, and provide strategic insights that aid informed decision making and grow the company’s analytical reach
  • Work on critical AI and non-AI ad hoc data projects as necessary
  • Handle multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines and performance expectations
  • Think outside the box and experiment with new approaches to political and fundraising data

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-2+ years of relevant experience, including but not limited to: AI/ML development, computer science, data science, statistics
  • Proficient in SQL and Python
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, LLM-based app development, RAG, multi-model routing, CI/CD pipelines, and/or building agentic workflows is a plus
  • Team player with a no-task-too small approach to the role
  • Willing to learn new skills
  • High attention to detail and organization
