Job description

Now accepting applications for an Energy Efficiency Client Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking energy efficiency services and solutions. This role is responsible for screening applicants, recording and verifying required documentation, determining eligibility, and guiding clients through the first step of the home performance process. The specialist provides exceptional customer service while triaging customers following program guidelines and maintaining accurate client records.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to client inquiries via phone and email regarding energy efficiency programs and services.
  • Screen clients for the appropriate service provided by Elysian Energy.
  • Enter and maintain accurate client information in our customer database.
  • Schedule energy audits, home assessments, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning site visits..
  • Educate clients on available energy-saving programs, rebates, and incentives.
  • Coordinate with program managers, directors, energy auditors, and HVAC estimators. .
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and utility program requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with agency policies.
  • Assist with outreach events and community engagement activities as needed.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, client intake, administrative support, or social services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to explain complex program requirements in a clear and professional manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with energy efficiency, weatherization, utility assistance, or housing programs.
  • Knowledge of income eligibility guidelines and documentation requirements.
  • Experience using Housecall Pro, Google Calendars, and/or Salesforce.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) preferred.
