Job Summary:

The Electrical Tester performs basic electrical testing and inspection of components, subassemblies, and products to ensure conformance with specifications.  This entry-level position builds foundational skills in reading electrical schematics, using test equipment, and understanding product performance requirements.  Work is performed under close supervision while following established procedures and safety standards.

 Essential Functions

  • Perform basic electrical testing and inspection per established procedures.
  • Learn and apply standard electrical terminology and testing concepts.
  • Read and interpret simple blueprints, work instructions, and test specifications.
  • Operate and maintain basic test instruments and equipment.
  • Record test data accurately and communicate results to supervision or engineering.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and procedural requirements.
  • Other duties as required or assigned.

Experience & Education

  • GED or high school diploma preferred.
  • Two (2) years of related electrical or manufacturing experience preferred.
