Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately adding a full-time Graphic Experience Center Apprentice in support of our nationally recognized, Consumer and Commercial Electronic R&D client in Alpharetta, GA.
What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):
Demo Preparation & Equipment Readiness:
* Perform maintenance of assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Assist during customer demos by operating equipment and applying Operator Basic Skills (OBS)
* Set up demos (e.g., create new media, install inks, calibrate equipment)
* Troubleshoot issues to reduce unplanned downtime and keep operations running smoothly
Sample Creation, Production & Finishing:
* Design, print, and finish customer samples and sales/educational sample kits to high-quality standards
* Support preparation and production of customer samples; Contribute to inventory and repeatable sample workflows where applicable
Advanced Prepress & Workflow Execution:
* Execute prepress activities such as pre-flighting, imposition, Variable Data Creation, and ripping
* Use tools such as Adobe Suite, SmartStream Solutions, and other third party workflow software as part of daily production
* Learn modern digital print workflows and support increasing complexity over time (e.g., more complex impositions/VDP execution under guidance)
Marketing, Collateral & Event Support:
* Create, print, and finish marketing collateral for GEC/Company Industrial products and events
* Support content creation, such as video production support and camera work for events and demos
Learning, Training & Certification (Core to the Role):
* Complete structured training and ongoing updates to stay current with technology and workflows
* Work toward certification on assigned equipment, including the latest-generation Indigo presses and related tools (including AI tools referenced in the program materials)
* Build familiarity with workflow integrations and third-party equipment/software in a real production environment
REQUIREMENTS:
* Entry level or early-career candidate with a strong foundation and a desire to build a long-term career in printing/graphics
* Strong attitude: curious, reliable, committed, and eager to learn fast in a high-paced environment
* Creative thinking and willingness to propose new ideas for samples, collateral, and process improvement (per role requirement provided)
* Comfortable working on-site 5 days/week around production equipment (per role requirement provided)
Preferred Skills:
* Bachelor's degree (or higher) and/or coursework in Printing, Graphic Communications, Graphic Arts, Industrial Design, or related fields
* Familiarity with design/prepress tools (e.g., Adobe Suite) and interest in production workflows
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
