The Effector RF Design Department is seeking talented engineers with the skills and passion to work on complex projects that shape antenna, radome, and antenna measurement system technology within the company. The selected candidate will be contributing to diverse teams and executing tasks in various antenna and radome design life cycles. This is an entry-level RF Engineer position for an individual with educational experience and/or professional interest in the application of technical antenna principles, concepts, and techniques. A successful candidate is one with the skillset and passion required to solve complex engineering problems, properly apply engineering tools and processes, and leverage knowledge from previous coursework and projects. This position is in Tucson, AZ and is an on-site role. What You Will Do * Development of antenna or radome hardware and requirements.
* Working with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, systems, etc.
* Working with antenna manufacturing suppliers.
* Antenna modeling and simulation execution on workstations and high performance computing resources (HPC)
* Interpret simulation or measurement test data to verify performance to requirements. Qualifications You Must Have * Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
* Experience and/or coursework with RF and electromagnetic theory
* Proficiency with modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi and/or GRASP Qualifications We Prefer * ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard.
* 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
* Solid background and practical understanding of designing GPS antenna systems (to include experience or relevant course work).
* Model generation and simulation experience with conformal antennas (to include experience or relevant course work).
* Proficiency with Python, MATLAB and/or other high level scientific programming languages
* Proficiency with high performance computing (HPC) environments and schedulers such as SLURM
* ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
