Entry Level Electrical Engineer - #2775.20 job at Wade Trim. Taylor, MI.

Position Description:

We are looking for an Entry Level Engineer to join our ICE Team to improve infrastructure in our Taylor office. Candidates should have a bachelorโ€™s degree in electrical engineering and zero to three years of experience. Completion of Part I of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and knowledge of GIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication/coordination skills are essential. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 30 days of employment.

Typical responsibilities include:
  • Prepares scaled work order maps using Computer Aided Design software (CAD), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and other client design systems.
  • Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities
  • Assist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks
  • Monitor task budget and progress
  • Conduct on-site observations as needed
  • Maintain multiple project assignments
  • Verify field survey notes
  • Prepare project status and other reports
  • Assist Project Managers
  • Attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc.
  • Attend seminars and/or training classes
  • Maintain excellent client relations
  • Maintain a safe working environment
Education:
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Skills/Experience:
  • 0 to 3 years of related experience required

  • Completion of Part I of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam preferred

  • Knowledge of GIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred
