Overview
Perform an entry-level engineering role in the design or construction aspects of engineering projects and assist other departmental engineers.
Responsibilities
  1. Perform design activities requiring a basic understanding of drawings, calculations, specifications, and industry standards and practices covering the assigned work.
  2. Shall have a basic knowledge of the theory, practices, and procedures pertaining to engineering matters in one or more of the following areas:
  3. Electrical Engineering
  4. Communications Systems
  5. Computer Engineering
  6. Automation Systems
  7. Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, cost estimates, specifications, evaluations, and requisitions.
  8. Develop professional work knowledge and abilities in one or more of the following areas:
  9. Substation Design
  10. Substation Automation
  11. Power Systems Analysis
  12. Communications Systems
  13. Electrical Control Systems
  14. Protective Relaying
  15. Transmission Systems
  16. Develop knowledge of the company's design, construction, QA/QC, and safety standards and the Company document control system.
  17. Responsible for complete and accurate record keeping and quality of all work performed.
  18. May be required to travel to support work.
  19. Other duties as required.

Qualifications
Shall have a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering program or an Associate Degree in Engineering with the appropriate experience at a Designer level.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
